We live in a world where humans have grown so disconnected from empathy and kindness that we’ve lost sight of our duty to protect the most vulnerable animals. These voiceless, defenseless beings are tortured, exploited, and abused in unimaginable ways, while many simply turn a blind eye. But why should we stay silent when animals are violated so horrifically? Why is this barbaric sexual abuse not taken seriously?
We have personally faced the horror of trying to raise our voice in a country where the so called “protectors of law” dismiss such cases as unimportant. We were told to stop “interfering” because we come from a “good family” and should “focus on studies.” How dare they? What’s shameful isn’t our compassion, it’s a society that tolerates cruelty and hides behind ignorance.
In India, sexual violence against animals isn’t recognized as a specific crime, leaving them unprotected a complete failure of justice. Perpetrators walk free unpunished for their heinous acts.
Between 2015 and 2025, 259 cases were reported, though the real number is likely ten times higher. The cries of countless animals go unheard, their pain unseen.
Society and certain online cultures dangerously normalize such abuse. But let’s be clear it’s NOT okay. No amount of conditioning or twisted desire can justify cruelty.
So, what can we do?
First, raise awareness educate others about this suffering and its psychological toll.
Second, demand stronger laws India must criminalize sexual violence against animals.
Third, ensure offenders get help but also face the full weight of justice.
If you think this issue is small, think again. Every time cruelty is ignored, humanity loses. It’s time to raise our voices for the voiceless.
“No more silence, No more excuses!”
